Considering the present circumstances related to COVID-19, the Conference Committee of the IEEE Nanotechnology Council and the local organizers of the 20th IEEE International Conference on Nanotechnology 2020 (IEEE NANO 2020) have decided to modify the format of IEEE NANO 2020 as follows:

  • To contributors of IEEE NANO 2020 who want to present their work and have their conference papers presented and published in 2020, despite the very difficult situation, we will provide a virtual solution to IEEE NANO 2020. Shortly we will send out a survey with some preliminary information to estimate the number of participants to this virtual event. More details will follow as firm arrangements are made.
  • To contributors of IEEE NANO 2020 who prefer to visit Montreal and present their conference papers on-site, we announce that the 21st IEEE International Conference on Nanotechnology 2021 (IEEE NANO 2021) will be held in Montreal, July 28-30, 2021. Abstracts submitted to IEEE NANO 2020 and nopresented to the virtual event will be transferred to the 21st edition. Besides, an additional call for papers will be opened Nov 15th, 2020 – Jan 31st, 2021.
  • Of course, current IEEE NANO 2020 contributors are encouraged to both present their current papers to the virtual IEEE NANO 2020 and submit further work to IEEE NANO 2021.

The 20th IEEE International Conference on Nanotechnology (IEEE-NANO 2020) is also a great opportunity to visit Montreal and the many natural parks that surround the city, so we suggest that you extend your stay. In this section you will find all the information you will need to arrive to Montreal, find a hotel and go through your VISA procedures.
